FROM DEVON TO DORSET. When in South of England, you should definitely go dinosaur hunting along the Jurassic Coast.
JURASSIC COAST
From Exmouth in Devon to Studland Bay in Dorset, 154 kilometers of rock formations from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001.
CHARMOUTH & LYME REGIS
A small beachy village along the Jurassic Coast by the English Channel. The Charmouth beach goes all the way down to Lyme Regis who is another village with a harbour and sandy beaches. Both of the destinations are perfect for fossil hunting! Imagine those dinosaur skeletons hiding in the cliffs for more then 185 million years…
When in South of England this is for sure one of the MUST VISIT spots!
